The t.bone SC400 is a very nice and reliable microphone if used in combination with a stand, a sound mixer and a USB soundcard. I used that setting for quite some time. Here's my rating for it:
Space needed 2/10 (Because the stand, soundmixer and USB soundcard need to be bought seperately and it takes up much space when set up)
Sensitivity 7/10
Recording Quality 6/10
Handling 7/10 (Easy to handle, but you might have to experiment with the positioning on the stand)
Compability 10/10 (Tried with Windows XP, Windows 7 Home Premium and Debian 7.0)
Self Noise 7/10
Overall score : 39/60
My verdict: Overall it's a very nice mic, but there are some issues. Especially the spider that is delivered with the mic is poorly made. It leaves scratches on the mic itself if it's removed and put back in frequently.
The USB soundcard and soundmixer I used were:
Behringer Xenyx 1202 (Soundmixer)

It's a nice piece of hardware. You can add effects by turning the dials. It's a feature I never used, since I preferr to add the digitally while editing the MPĀ³. What's the nicest feature in my opinion is, that you can easily control the volume, which is pretty useful if you have to scream/shout for your role.
The USB Soundcard I wused was the Behringer UCA222
www.thomann.de/de/behringer_ucontrol_uca_222.htm
It was used to connect the mixer with my laptop via USB. (The mic was connected to the mixer)
It's cheap, it does it's job... Nothing more to say about it, neither positive, nor negative.
